Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the Nil Desperandum Foundation has been helping refugees.
Our work is financially supported by the US-based Fortuna Clinical Foundation and private donors.

What we have done:

• we provided several hundred pieces of personal hygiene products to those in need
• we financed the purchase of books for children and young people in Ukrainian for the Raczynski Library in Poznan and the Library of Primary School No. 306 in Warsaw
• we purchased and delivered children’s books in Ukrainian to selected refugee integration points
• we purchased and donated dozens of toys, colouring books and crayons for the youngest children
• we provided financial support to the Klub Możliwośći, which organises group transport and accommodation for Ukrainian citizens arriving at border reception points
• we provided significant funding to purchase essential items and products for Vilnhirsk residents affected by the war
• we provided significant funding to purchase essential tools and materials for the National Guard in Ukraine protecting humanitarian transports

Currently:

• we are supporting the social integration of a refugee woman from Ukraine by financing her work for the community of people with disabilities and their families.
